Time Flies...

Updating...

I just realised that I have been abandoning my blog for more than 1 years. Thanks to KaiLyn and CyDou reminded me the username and password of my blogger.com. Ok! What to update?! First of all I gonna talk about my 6 months internship life in Puchong. I could clearly flashback the first day when I stepped into DK-QS. My friends and I reached office at 9.00am on dot. 4 of us were asked to sit in the meeting room while waiting for the Senior QS.

Fast forward, I was led by a Senior QS (Teck Yong). First of all, he looks fierce as shown in the photo below and I dare not to question him anything about the task he distributed to me. I used almost 3 days to complete the task and within the 3 days he kept on asking me about the progress and...I was stress Teck Yong! But few months later, I feel more comfortable to talk to him and till now I still prefer to work under him.

Again, on the 6 months of internship, even it tortured us loads but conversely we were creating a strong bonding with some colleagues. We actually went for movie in Puchong IOI every Friday night. Now, we have a group in FB and every activities we could discuss there and soon we gonna watch Ironman 3! Happy days are always short-lived. Unfortunately, 2 of them decided to leave DK-QS very soon and they decided to move back and work in hometown and the day after Ironman 3, we gonna organize a farewell party with them.

I actually did learnt very much during internship which I appreciate the most. At least I went to site progress meeting, site valuation, open tender and etc. All the colleagues are kind and willing to teach. I truly want to say thank you to Ms.G and due to her laziness, we as a trainee we could learn a lots! To be honest, I will definitely not going to work after my graduation because the work loads are not tally with the income you get.

Year 3 Semester 2 started on Jan and the subjects are much tougher as compared to previous semester. From next semester onward, we gonna work out for our dissertation and luckily I already grabbed a supervisor. I actually proposed him 2 titles and both were rejected.

The 1st title was about Handicapped Facilities in Universities and he commented that I will face difficulty during collecting data stage. While the 2nd title was about Fire Assessment on Heritage Buildings. Perhaps I should write down the conversation I had with him.

Le supervisor: Why u want to do historic things? Why donch u do something related to ur
future?
Le me: Sir! I have no idea already larh~ Or maybe I do a title regards to waste materials or delays.
Le supervisor: Don't do such title arh. If u do such title. I give u max. grade B only. Do u approach to other lecturers?
*Hmm.. He must be disgusted with me*
Le me: No. Sir.
Le supervisor: My brain stuck already larh. Now u still want me to think about the title.
 *5 minutes later*
Le supervisor: Perhaps u can study why Malaysians are not interesting in construction field? Maybe after the research you get the solution like the environmental causes Malaysians do not want to participate themselves in construction field.
Le me: Har?! So easy arh? Labour issues arh?
Le supervisor: Easy?! Ok. Temme what do u think?
Le me: *very confident* I think it's about the wages lorh~ construction very dirty lorh~
Le supervisor: YOU THINK! Prove?
Le me: Ok Sir. I'll think about it.

After all, I backed to DK-QS just to seek some advices from my Project Executive-Ms.Lilian and she said the title sounds not bad and it is actually an issue in construction field but she suggested me to focus more on Skilled Labours which is more challenging and so I decided to combine the 2 ideas.

Next, I done loads of research and came out a draft proposal and I approached to the supervisor 2 days later. I did not showed him the draft proposal but I suggested my title verbally which included all my problem statements and final outcome. And he said "Ok! Acceptable." I was like "pppuuufff~"

Tiger Asian Festival Live in Malaysia 2012

Hi folks, I am back! I just realised that I have been abandoning my blog for almost 3 months and due to some complains that I have received, I am here to update my blog. On 14th April 2012, I joined a music festival in Sunway Lagoon which organised by Tiger and Galaxy. I admit it. I joined the music festival just because of A-lin and 萧敬藤.

The music festival started at 6.30pm and I reached Sunway Pyramid around 7pm and waited Ms. Ong Chiew Hsien at the Starbucks Coffee Shop. Unsurprisingly, she was late and thanks to the traffic jam all the way from Puchong toll to Sunway Pyramid. Fast forward, we met up in Wong Kok Restaurant and we took some quick dinner and it was already 8.30pm after the meal.

Later than the staffs checked our tickets, we moved into Sunway Lagoon around 9pm and naturally we walked like a boss. On the half way, I listened A-lin was singing her hit song without music. Then I told my friend that A-lin was coming out and 2 of us ran like the wind! It was actually a beach party and there was so crowded!

Fast forward, after we got into entrance and luckily A-lin was singing the song which I am not familiar with. So, at the same time, we looked for the best position so that we can see A-lin and 萧敬藤 clearly. Next, I will let the pictures do the talking.

A-lin looks so gorgeous

Hosts were interviewing A-lin

Next, an unremarkable performance, a local band named as Man-Han performed and it was the time for me to reply some messages or tweeted in twitter because I don't even know what they were singing. I admit it, I am not clear about Man-Han and if you want to know more, please google it yourselves. Fast forward, it was 萧敬藤's show after the Man-Han! Again, I will let the pictures do the talking.

He pointed at the speaker to notify the staffs, there were some audio errors

Hey brother Xiao, that's a handrill instead of leg-drill.

He was looking to the camera, right?! Ok, he was looking at the camera.

This was what I showed to him

I enjoyed A-lin's and 萧敬藤's performance but I felt dull during the show of Man-Han and LMF even though I know they are popular in Malaysia and Hong Kong. But, I just don't know what they were singing. Before that, the last performer was LMF. I don't even know who are the group members and I wonder why they need to put on their sun-glasses at night. Fast forward, they are formed by 3 young peoples and 1 old folk seniority.

Sun-glass? WTF?!

I.P.O.H

My family and I had traveled to Ipoh few weeks ago. As I known, my dad is a driver who dislikes to drive in a very long journey but he was prepared to travel a 318 km/h trip just because of my brother. My brother was joined in a badminton tournament which organized by Hainan Association. On 15th December, we departed from Kuala Terengganu around 8am and we did passed through Cameron Highland about 12.30pm and so we reached Ipoh around 5pm.

We checked in to Hotel Excelsior once we reached there and it was already 6pm after we finished all the stuffs and stomachs were growling  at the same time. It was dinner time! Whats more?! After the dinner, we went to Ipoh Parade and about 9.30pm we moved back to hotel.

On the next day, around 9am, we headed off to Kompleks Sukan Dewan Bandaraya Ipoh. When we arrived there, my brother discussed about the strategy with his team members because he was going to play his first match with the players from Negeri Sembilan

Spotted Peter Gade!

Apart from this, during their conversation, my brother kept mentioned about Lee Tsuen Seng and he was actually characterized as a Perak player. Then, I question my dad "Who is that fella." because I am so familiar with the name. Then, my dad told me he was an ex-player of Badminton Association Malaysia (BAM) and also KL Racket Club (KLRC).

Lee Tsuen Seng

Fast forward, after my brother won his first match we backed to hotel to take a bath rapidly because the temperature inside the hall is so fucking high! Next, we moved to lunch in town and then we took a trip to San Bo Dong. Now, I'll let the photos do the talking.

The Pavilion

Subsequently, we moved to a place named as Hentian Limau Tambun and loads of grapefruits were sold there! Besides, there were various sexy sale-girls (please don't choose the aged one) stood in front once we parked our car and naturally we chosen the youngest sale-girl. LOL

Grapefruits

It was about 6pm after we bought the grapefruits. Next, we went back to hotel and after the dinner we went to Ipoh Parade again. We returned back to hotel about 9.30pm. It was only 9.30pm and you expect me to lay on a bed?! No way! So I walked off to Skyway Restaurant which is located opposite of the hotel just to pinch their Wifi. LOL!

There were nothing special things happened on the second day so please do allow me to skip. On the third day, last day of the tournament, Perak v.s Terengganu and the Perak players were symbolized by Lee Tsuen Seng and partner and evidently Teregganu players were represented by my brother and his partner.

Before the match, I did took a photo with Lee Tsuen Seng and again the awkward moment occurred. When I questioned him "Can I take a photo with you?" and he was actually barefoot and playing with his Iphone. So when I issued him to take a photo with me, he said "Hold on.. Hold on.." and he was putting on his shoes at the same time.

Fortunately, my brother won the match because Lee is a single player and it was not easy for him to play in double. Moreover, his partner did quite bad during the match. Luckily I took the photo with him before the match. Or else, I guess he will ignore my requisition. Next, Terengganu v.s Melaka in the final match and due to the speed of the players from Melaka were too fast, so Terengganu team lost in the game. Award ceremony had been organized after the competition.

An Early December

Holy shyt! I was lost in Kuala Terengganu! As we known, Kuala Terengganu is so micro as compared to Kuala Lumpur and the other places! On 1st of December, I planned to get some sunset photos and so I departed around 5.30pm with my Yahama Cup along. So, when I reached Cendering, I actually saw the place which I could set-up the tripod and get a nice scenery but I didn't know where is the entry located!

I decided to proceed my journey and find out the location of the entry but I failed to search for the entry. I was in a kampung and the place was so unfamiliar! Since the maximum speed of the motor is only 90km/h so I did made a U-turn and rode 80km/h to get out from the kampung! After I get out from the kampung, I had chosen Masjid Terapung as my place to snap the sunset photos. Next, I put my motor car keys into pocket and set-up the speedlight and started the shooting. I did shot loads of photos but this is the one of succeeded result.

I had a mini heart attack after the shooting. I kept my stuffs around 6.45pm because the sky turned dark. At the time when I want to take the keys from my pocket, I was shocked because I missed the keys! FML!  What I did was kept on searching, hunted on the floor but the sky turned darker! While I was hunting, I was asking myself "How am I going to explain this to my dad?!" Luckily, I found the keys around 30 minutes later and it just beside the motor. WTH!

Besides, I did attended Hebe's promo tour on 10th December which is located in Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC).  Before this I was worried that I failed to grab the ticket but thanks to my friend-Shery Kan who redeemed it via Yeah! magazine. Fast forward, I reached TARC around 7pm and there was a long queue! What to do? I am not a loyalty fans.

We entered the hall around 8pm and the promo tour started at 9pm. Before the promo tour started, some strangers loyalty fans were dancing and luckily I was at the very back so I couldn't watched it clearly. Around 9.30pm, Hebe came out and the people who were standing in front of me rose up their hand as high as they could! Well, maybe they were worried Hebe can't saw their hands clearly.

Is Hebe! Obvious right?

Since I was standing at the very back, I couldn't get a clearer pictures. Moreover, I  failed to buy a 18-300mm lens before the promo tour. Luckily the fella who was standing beside me was using the 18-300mm lens. So, I could see Hebe clearly through his screen! LOL! Besides, the sound system was so darn sux worst! I can't even listened what did Hebe said!

Hebe started signed the albums after her performance and again there was a long queue. I decided to queue up in a while. Suddenly the host said "Thanks for those who participating them self for this promo tour. We do appreciate and because we are lack of time, we have to stop the autograph section."

Hence, an disarray occurred! The host just kept comforting the situation and finally Hebe stepped forward sand asked "Who haven't get the autograph yet?" Hmm, around 300 fans rose up their hand included me. Then, she said "Ok, let them in!" I think any singer who refuses autographs has a hell of a nerve. I think I will throw away all her albums if she dare to cancel the autograph section.

Here is her autograph.

When I was on the stage, I requested her to write my name in the album but I failed. I called her twice but end up with a smile. I was so shocked by her thick cosmetic when she showed her smile to me and she looks so skinny! For sure, I did shake hand with her. I'm going to miss her!

My Astro 开心了龙龙

On an early October, I saw an advertisement via Astro and the advertisement is about shooting a music video. Since Chinese New Year is around the corner, Astro plans to shoot the music video in every states and so Kuala Terengganu is one of the spot. The shooting was started at 8am sharp on 18th Nov.2011 and before we departed, my mom was wearing a sexy red shirt and she looked like a cardinal bird a.k.a angry bird. Then, I questioned her, "Mom, are you sure you want to wear like this?!" and she replied me "Sure! Shooting music video for Chinese New Year what!" Please larh, Mom! Who you think you are? Super star arh? The director will only asks you to stand away from the camera!

We reached there around 8.30pm and I was shocked! Around 300 people (according to the news reported) were participating. I guess almost all the Chinese in Kuala Terengganu were there. After that, I walked around with my camera and I saw my friends-YiNien Toh and ChuiYing Fong. I did invited to join the shooting but I rejected. Actually, I wanted to tag along but I need to carry along a 300g camera and since they were shooting, so I need to stand away from the camera.

"So mom, where are you?"

Queuing Up.

Later, I found a perfect position  and it was next to their camera. After I seized the place, I started to snap some photos. When I looked through the screen on my camera, I saw somebody was dancing and I was like "Uncle, can you please move your ass away?!" then I shifted my camera away to make sure who was that man and... oh, it was the director a.k.a ChiuDao! Next, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

"Ok, nice shoot! Take a break and we'll shoot again."

"ChiuDao, you said good shoot but why we need to re-shoot?"

"Mr.Director, make it fast larh! Very hot wehy~"

Terengganurians, are you ready?!

Cheers!!

"Ok! Good shoot!"

"Mr.Director, make sure it's a good shoot arh. I am not going to re-shoot.
Hold on, where is my mom? WHERE IS MY MOM?!"

The product

After the shooting, I did take a photo with ChiuDao and he was very kind. He thanked me after we took this photo and I wonder why? "Erm, Mr.Director, I never take part in the shooting because I need to carry my camera. So no need to thank me."  My friend told me that I look awkward in this photo. Is it? Hmm, I think it is because I do not know how to respond when people put his or her hand on my shoulder. It would look more weird if I put my hand on his waist.

Besides, I like their t-shirt and I regret that I never request it from the director! I wish I could wear it on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. So, can I have one? Ok, I am going to call-in to Astro and ask for it! Last but not least, I am looking forward to this amazing video and wish to see you guys soon!
